Welcome to my practice. If you're perusing this web-site, life has either taken a turn for the worse or you're ready for growth. Congratulations. This is often a difficult and courageous step.
Whatever is going on, my 20+ years of experience working with adults from across the globe may be helpful. Through our work, my clients have successfully navigated symptoms, grown and built meaningful, authentic lives. I use evidence based therapies to create a space for increased insight, learning, awareness, emotional processing and active engagement. If you're burned out, struggle with mood or medical issues, PTSD, dependence and/or relationship problems, having a trained set of eyes can help.
Starting from that place of stuck/hurt, together, we'll identify what keeps you stuck and help you process your thoughts and feelings, try on multiple perspectives and make wise yet flexible life affirming choices. Among the various evidence based treatments, I use culturally informed CBT or ACT depending on your working preference and PCT for PTSD/trauma. Skill acquisition and relational work is inherent in this process.
Overcoming avoidance to deal with life's ailment is usually helped by a kind, safe, validating and guided relationship. If the time has come for healing & realignment, I invite you get in touch. We can spend some time checking to see our connection, and if it feels like a good fit, begin the work ahead.
As a peer reviewed Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) trainer, Dr. G also offers training and consultation for therapists and organizations in the community. Services are available in English, French & Romanian.
